OUR HISTORY
MAK Diesel & Earthmoving is a locally owned and operated business with branches in Mount Isa and Townsville providing Diesel Fitting services to the Earthmoving, Civil and Mining Industries throughout the North West. With 18+ years of experience in the industry, MAK Diesel & Earthmoving has expanded from a humble one-man diesel fitting operation in Mount Isa to a multifaceted service, sales & hire company that employs over 35 staff across three locations. Servicing from as far down as Birdsville up to the Gulf of Carpentaria, and from the East coast all the way into the NT, MAK Diesel & Earthmoving help keep the North West of this great state operating.
MAK Diesel has two fully equipped workshops in Mount Isa and one in Townsville offering services to the mining, civil, earthmoving, and agricultural industries just to name a few. Boasting a team of skilled and experienced diesel fitters, line borers, boilermakers, & auto electricians, MAK Diesel will always ensure a superior service.
Our extensive range of dry hire equipment suitable for mining, surface civil, construction, landscaping, agricultural and DIY projects is fully maintained and kept in safe working condition at all times. We will add to our fleet and adapt our existing plant to suit your site requirements.
As dealers for both Case Construction Equipment & Wacker Neuson, MAK Diesel offers a vast range of new lpant and equipment that includes 1.7T-50T Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Crawler Dozers, Compact Track Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, Mini Loaders, Motor Graders, Telehandlers, Rollers, Site Dumpers, Compaction & Demolition Equipment, and Concrete Technology. We will supply your equipment the way you need it and ready to go to site with all optional extras installed/fitted prior to handover. Hitches, attachments, safety & communication accessories, auto-lubrication systems, GPS, and more are all sourced and installed in-house for your convenience. Optional equipment is available to both new & used machine acquisitions.
We stock & supply a large range of earthmoving and transport vehicle parts in both of our Mount Isa & Townsville branches. Whether it's a new engine for your truck, some filters and oil for your next service, an auto-greaser to add to your machine, optional machinery attachments, replacement G.E.T., or a whole set of undercarriage for your machine, MAK Diesel can provide the lot!
